Ms FORREST question to MINISTER for INFRASTRUCTURE, Mr VINCENT

My question is with deep congratulations - because I forgot to do it earlier - to the Minister for Infrastructure. I am sure he will do a fine job. We are really glad to have the Minister for Infrastructure in this Chamber.

I appreciate that he has only been the minister for three quarters of an hour, but I am going to ask this question and see if he is able to provide any information at all. If not, he may come back next week with it.

Some time ago, a study into the duplication of the Cam River Bridge was commissioned. That seems to have been lost in the ether. Is the minister able to inform the House as to what is happening with that study? Has it been completed? If it has not, where is it? If it has, can you table the report?

Mr President, I shall seek some information.

Yes, it is under discussion. In early next year there will be information released on that second bridge. The proposal is being looked at at the moment.
