Ms FORREST question to MINISTER for ENERGY and RENEWABLES, Mr DUIGAN
[2.31 p.m.]
Last week I asked a question of the minister as to when I was likely to get a response to questions on notice. There are now eight weeks sitting on that Notice Paper, particularly in light of some similar questions regarding the payment in lieu of rates questions have already been answered from the perspective of the Treasurer, through the Leader and the minister for Infrastructure. You told me you would have answer this week. We have one more day. Can I be assured of an answer to those three questions that sit there in my name related to energy and renewables tomorrow?
ANSWER
Thank you, Mr President, and matter of some discussion in the office and wider noting these are very detailed, long questions which take a lot of work. I will just quickly seek some advice.
I can commit to the two out of the three questions that live within my personal remit in the energy portfolio. I’m advised that one question is with the Treasurer’s Office for some further examination, but tomorrow –
Ms Forrest – Can you indicate which one?
Mr DUIGAN – I need to check that. Certainly, I looked at one this morning, which is around Hydro machinery outages. Let me check with the other one. By process of elimination, and I hope you know, the insurer question is the one that’s with the Treasurer. I will have the answer to the other one.
Ms Forrest – It was a competitive neutrality question.
Mr DUIGAN – Thank you and 11 a.m. tomorrow morning.
