My question follows from a question I asked on Tuesday. On Wednesday, 17 July 2019, in an article titled 'Public Sector job cuts loom, Budget savings could cost 2200 posts', The Mercury reported that the - 

Treasurer is currently working with agencies to identify savings which could be further considered by government in coming weeks.

What reporting of the efficiency measures will be made?

ANSWER

Mr President, I thank the member for Murchison for her question.

The efficiency measures are being considered as part of the same process to identify savings. The Government has committed to providing an update on measures agreed with individual agencies after the first quarter of the 

2019-20 financial year and also in the 2019-20 Revised Estimates Report.
